There are 7 generations of Windleys in Australia with over 3300 of them recorded in Lauries family tree. There are two different spellings ? Windley and Winley.? Hi Aussie, My Gt.Gt.Gt. Grandfather arrived in NZ About 1840. He had a brother whom we think stopped off in Australia. My youngest brother now deceased has a family in Melboune. We are descended from Thomas and Sarah (Oldknow). I dont have their details to hand at this time. My nephews name is William(Bill). I believe the ship was named the Lady Neugent and berthed in Wellington. When I dig out all the Windley Info. I have I will post it on this site. Kiwi.
