My name is Peter, I was born in southfields london on 14th october 1933, and I live in Kidderminster in the county of Wiorcestershire in England. I have four children and we are in the process of investigating our family tree, and as we find out about ourselves we hope this site will encourage you to do the same to make this the biggest family tree in the world, we are not sure how we are going to do it but I thought I would start the ball rolling by telling you a few things which will help us to get the website moving. The site is not complete yet and there will be modifications made to it to make it user friendly. Windley is not a common name and I think it will make things a lot easier to trace than if we were the Smiths. Nic has said tthat he will administer the site to start with so if you have any suggestions to what you would like on the site let him know and he will look at it. I think we are all interested in where it all started so with your help we shall make a start.
We are not far away from the village of WINDLEY which is in Derbyshire, and maybe where we originated from We are hoping this will enable us to become a source of contact and create a forum to discuss whatever you like and compare situations in different parts of the world. You can supply as little or as much information about yourself as you like but for the tree to be constructed we must have your full name, date and place of birth.and country, all the rest can come in time. So let us here from you, if you have already started your family tree let us know we might be able to help.
